APN Outdoor Launches New Site

Sydney, May 19, 2009 – Try before you buy, feast your eyes, commit no sins, map it out, suss it out, read the research and make strategic, targeted outdoor advertising decisions – all through the new APN Outdoor website which went live today.

The new feature rich site was designed to support early outdoor advertising decisions and demonstrate the full potential of this form of advertising. The features sit against a background of stunning photographs, each one bringing to life key APN Outdoor sites and formats.

Following nine months of development, APN Outdoor has put critical information at the fingertips of media agencies, clients and small businesses. The site’s easy navigation and creative approach to complex information allows clients to now:

  • pinpoint exact geographical outdoor advertising site locations, using Map It
  • be guided through the creative process for effective outdoor advertising using the 7 Deadly Outdoor Creative Sins
  • access the latest audience insights through APN Outdoor research that is downloadable or viewable online
  • test creative on different formats using the creative simulator. Creative can be simulated on APN Outdoor’s formats including Transit (FullBack, MegaSide, Portrait Rear, Portrait Side, Showcase, 24 Footer and MetroBack), Roadside Billboards (Supersite, Cosmopolitan and Roadside Poster) and Precincts (Rail Crosstrack and Station Surround).

The website will be launched today to customers via an email directing them to a fun animated flash launch page. All customers are then invited to enter a competition to win a trip for two to Port Douglas, including both flights and five nights accommodation in a Mantra resort.
